The Coastal Settlement

24 Aug

Hi there!

Recently, during one of my weekends, I headed to this cafe in Singapore. It’s called Coastal Settlement. It is situated along the chalets in the changi area so it’s really a quiet and serene place where you can choose to dine either in the outdoors or indoors. My friends & I sat indoors as the weather that day was really warm. Well but I reckon sitting outdoors do have its own atmosphere as well too, when you are surrounded by the nature  🙂
Here’s a collage done by my friend, Shawn of the place & the food we had.

The entrance

The interior deco is really nice

The menu consists of local dishes such as hor fun, sandwiches and western style dishes such as risotto.
and how can we miss out dessert 🙂

Take a look at what my friends & i ordered 😀

Steak with Rostti, if i didn’t remember wrongly, it’s around S$28

Prawn Aglio Olio, S$18

My order 😀 Half-Half pizza. The first half is steak mushroom and the other is 3 cheeses, S$25.

Me posing with the food

After the main, it’s time for desserts! 🙂
I would say the dessert is really yummy and nice.

First up, waffles with dark chocolate ice cream.

Second, Grandmother’s Brownie
Sorry for the blurry picture but this’ brownie is really yummy. Must try when you are there.

The total bill came up to about S$40 per person (3 of us altogether) so it’s a slightly pricy meal then usual cafe.
And there we go! This sums up my post on coastal settlement.

*Please remember to call and book appointment alright. If you were to do walk-in, the probability of not having a seat during lunch/dinner time would probably be 99%. (Yes it’s that exaggerating)
TATA! In 2 days time I’ll be heading to Bangkok! 🙂 Getting excited.
